DDB: the five events!

In this blogpost you can find out more about all events of De Delftse Bedrijvendagen. Learn more about our five events: The Check-In Days, The Application Trainings, The Presentation Days, The Inhouse Days and The Interview Days.

What are 'De Delftse Bedrijvendagen'?

As a student at TU Delft, you probably have heard of 'De Delftse Bedrijvendagen' before, but what is it? Every year, the largest career fair in the Benelux is held in our own Aula congress centre at TU Delft. The leading companies from all over the world come to this fair, looking for new talent, looking for you! Do you want to orientate yourself on the labour market or are you busy finding a (graduation) internship or dream job? DDB helps you out.

Now a brief description of the different days:

The Check-in Days (22-24 January):
If you are already registered as a student on the site, you can check in at the Aula congress centre for De Delftse Bedrijvendagen. Here you will receive a badge that you will need for the rest of the events. If you have not yet registered, you can also do so in the Aula. After checking in, your registration is official after which you will receive a goodiebag and a nice mug of hot chocolate.

The Application Trainings (12-14 February):
A morning or afternoon will teach you how to sell yourself to a company through a training. You can also have your CV checked and you will receive many tips from trackers what they pay attention to during the application procedure. There is also a possibility to have your CV-/LinkedIn picture taken here so put on your best clothes.

The Presentation Days (18-20 February):
The highlight of DDB. Here all participating companies will have a stand in the auditorium of the TU Delft. This is your chance to get to know certain companies and network as effectively as possible. The ideal opportunity to find your (graduation) internship or dream job. Make sure you are well prepared and see in advance which companies you are interested in, because there are more than 150 companies present during these days. Check participating companies to learn more about the 150 participating companies.

The Inhouse Days (18-29 March):
During the Inhouse Days you have the opportunity to visit a company and experience what it is like to work for that company. Transport to and from the companies is fully arranged by De Delftse Bedrijvendagen.

The Interview Days (13-24 May):
During the Interview Days you will have a one-on-one conversation with recruiters. This can be an orienting conversation, but it can also directly lead to a job, internship or a graduation project. This can be purely exploratory, but can also lead directly to a job, internship or graduation assignment!
