General explanation about DDB

This article gives you a general idea of De Delftse Bedrijvendagen and it explains what it can do for you, a student. To begin, De Delftse Bedrijvendagen consists of four events that are intended to bring students and companies into contact with each other. This is done by means of the Application Trainings, Orientation Days, Coffee Interviews and In-house Days. Student registrations will open on January 9th.

Application trainings
During this event you can attend workshops and presentations of companies. You can also have your CV checked and you can talk to various companies. This event is mainly for final bachelor/master students who want to learn how the application process works and how it works at different companies. Even as a starting bachelor's student you are of course very welcome to attend this event.

Orientation Days

The Orientation Days is the largest event of De Delftse Bedrijvendagen, which attracts more than 150 companies and more than 3500 students. It is a multi-day fair where companies present themselves in their stand. You will have the opportunity to walk by the stands, ask questions and share contact details if you are interested in specific companies. The purpose of this event refers to the name: to orientate. It does not matter which phase of your studies you are in, because the event gives you an idea of the possibilities you have after your studies. If you are still in your bachelor's degree, you can choose to attend only this event.

Coffee Dates

The Coffee Dates is the third event of De Delftse Bedrijvendagen. This event allows you to talk to a company recruiter in an informal setting. You can ask all your questions here, during a short 20-minute conversation. This is the chance if you are looking for an internship or a job, to find out whether you want to start the application process at a certain company. This event is mainly intended if you are in the final phase of your studies, or are looking for an internship. You will be invited by the company for the Coffee Dates. To get this invitation, you send an application and motivation to companies you would like to have a conversation with. Companies then have the option to select students. If you're selected, it's up to you to accept the invitation. This is all done via the dashboard on the website!

In-house Days

The registration process for the Inhouse Days is the same as for the Coffee Dates. If you have been selected by a company and you have accepted the invitation, you can visit the company. The transport is fully provided by DDB.
