At CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. Using the world's largest and most complex scientific instruments, they study the basic constituents of matter - fundamental particles that are made to collide together at close to the speed of light. Student profile
We are looking for students and graduates from different fields including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material & Surface Science, Applied Physics, General/Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, International Relations and more.
Career opportunities
We offer Internships (Technical, Administrative) from 4-12 months, our Doctoral Students Programme with a contract of 6-36 months or bachelor and master graduates Early Career Professional Programmes with a placement of 24-36 months at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. Our programmes are open for applications 2-4 times per year.
